As a developer, I create database-driven web, desktop, and mobile applications and tools for HR Global Functions – Learning and Development and other HP Teams. I am involved in the full software/application/tool development lifecycle – gathering and analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing features and platform components meeting or exceeding the requirements, including the coding of modifications or new programs leveraging web technologies such as PHP, JavaScript libraries (JQuery, Kendo, etc.) , HTML, and databases including mySQL (MariaDB), MS SQL Server, and Oracle. Additionally, I am a Windows Server 2012 administrator and manage multiple HP SharePoint sites as a co-administrator, and other Office 365 apps. I have extensive experience creating forms with InfoPath, MS Forms (wired to MS Flow), and creating clean SharePoint UI’s with SharePoint Designer, JQuery, Bootstrap, and CSS. I leverage FPDF and FPDFI to create dynamic, database-driven PDF’s, PHPExcel and PHPMailer to send database-driven excel reports to targeted clients. I am an expert at automating primitive data feeds (csv’s, excels, txt, etc.) into clean UI data reports using PHP or PowerBI reports and dashboards.
I have been recognized by my HP colleagues for the quality of my work on numerous occasions and received bonuses for my work including 2018.

For the next Friday the 13th (09-13-2019), I am showing some code that combines a small bit of PHP-based code and the Kendo UI (http://www.telerik.com). This code tests if the date is a Friday, and if it is is a Friday, is it a Friday the 13th. Based on a Boolean field, $isFri13, the Kendo UI displays differently – if today’s date is a Friday the 13th, you will see “It’s Jason’s Day” blocked for the entire day. Double-clicking on the event will open the event’s details, with the delete and save buttons removed (display: none). On other days, you will see “It’s NOT Jason’s Day” and you will be able to delete or edit the event.
